For Shovelry!

Shovel Knight's an awesome new game for Wii U (and 3DS I think?) It's a platformer, kind of a tribute to classic 8-bit games, in which you're a knight with a shovel. You dig and fight giant monsters and collect new items and the whole thing is pretty challenging but really fun. Totally recommend it.

Totally recommend it. Have you guys played 1001 spikes? It's also for Wii U and it's similar to Shovel Knight in that it's a retro-styled platformer that's pretty difficult. The difference is that 1001 spikes is fucking agonizingly difficult at times. Such a hard game. Shovel Knight's just kind of hard. But I definitely recommend them both.

nah i havnt played 1001 spikes yet. but ima have to check it out, i like the retro style games

I bought Shovel Knight about a week ago. I bought the soundtrack a few days ago. Both great!

I just bought the game about the week ago, im close on finishing it. its kinda short but man its a badass game, the music, the gameplay, all very very good

Yeah, Shovel Knight is short but every element of the game is pretty close to perfect so I'm not complaining.

Nice! How'd you do on the last stage, refighting all the bosses? Took me a couple tries.

For me. The ice knight and tinker knight always give me problems. But the rest arent too bad. It is tough..its gonna be hell when I get there in new game plus haha. Double.damage and.no chicken

I didn't think Tinker Knight was too bad. I had a lot of trouble with Plague Knight for some reason.

I haven't tried new game plus, let me know how it goes!

For the boss rush in New Game +, every other chicken is a bomb. So at least you get a little something. Also those bombs REALLY hurt the bosses.

Yeah those bombs really do help.
and is it me or do check points seem farther away in new game +? maybe its just me cuz im dying alot haha
