New 3ds and 3ds XL announced

Nintendo just revealed new models of the 3ds and 3ds XL (unfortunately not available here in 2014 so it won't be around when Smash launches):


Biggest changes are a new C-stick thank the heavens, a higher-res screen (also thank the heavens. That's one of my biggest qualms with the current system– kind of a shitty screen. Have you ever tried to watch Netflix on that thing?) and better 3D (utilizing eye-tracking), and ZL and ZR buttons.

I don't believe we know yet. I hope it's early in 2015 because I can't handle smash with no C-stick. Sure I'll get used to it though.

It also boasts a stronger CPU which means faster downloads and load times. I'm kinda ticked off that they're making it though. I had a custom sticker made for my 3DS XL. I have a second sticker...but that's not the point!

I've heard people saying that with the new 3ds they will be able to put Ice Climbers into the game. The one we currently have doesn't seem like it will be able to handle them properly and keep the 60fps.

I'd have to take a picture of my 3DS to do that.
What I did was took this symbol:
and turned it into a sticker. Metal plate, buttons, simulated shine, and all. My 3DS is black.

Bander, that makes a lot of sense. Think we could see them later on as DLC?

I hope you are right Bander. Taking out Ice Climbers just seems so bad for me. Not that I mained them or anything but they were the only representation of their franchise and they ended up getting cute.
