Strong Characters? Weak Characters?

Alright so the game has almost been out for a month, and after playing alot of people, as well as running sets with Rai.
im kinda seeing whos strong and whos not. of course its still waaay to early to decide a tier list or rankings, but i want to hear your guys' opinion on who do you think is strong or weak.

my opinion i think Greninja is strong character. good pokes, very good recovery frames. and pretty fast too. i always struggle against him. Little mac is beast, but very easy to gimp. and i think alot of people are sleeping on Palutena she is really well rounded and strong character with hardly any flaws.

Interesting! I think you may be onto something with Palutena. Admittedly, I haven't used her much. I initially discounted her because the majority of her attacks are slow and they've been pretty easy to take advantage of when I've faced her. But if the attacks are well-placed, she can be a very tough opponent so I see where you're coming from. I'm not sure why but nobody seems to use her in online play!

I definitely agree with you about Greninja, he's a very strong character. He's extremely mobile and precise, and his attacks are lightning-quick.

Little Mac is definitely a beast. I haven't used him myself but he's just got so many things going for him. Power, speed, excellent mobility, and that one attack where he jumps across half the damn stage. :'(

What do you guys think about Donkey Kong in Smash 4? I think he's gotta be at least mid-tier, if not high. He's surprisingly fast and can combo players extremely easily with moves like utilt, dtilt, bair, nair, uair, etc. These are all very quick moves that you can string together very easily. His up-B is so good. Very difficult to take advantage of, great horizontal range, can reflect projectiles, etc. Even down-B is actually useful because it has fantastic range, not that much lag, and eats shields!

What did they do to Luigi?! He's never been this bad before and I played him in every Smash up to date!

For whatever reason I tried out ROB and really like him. I've been killing it with him on For Glory. So many good fast attacks and so much range.

Palutena does have some down time on her moves, but overall she can be very hard and tricky to fight, that up smash of hers scares me every time haha. yeah i agree, Greninja is gonna be a top 10 character my prediction. I believe DK is very underrated also Fizz. he hits hard and his moves have good range, DK should definitely be a high-mid tier character.

Luigi does seem very nerfed Kaze, i thought he would be better =o

and ROB got buffed on this one, he hits way harder. surprisingly i havnt seen much ROBS online
