Zelda (now Sheikless)

According to conventional wisdom, Zelda's best move since her Melee debut has been down-B. In Smash 4, this may still be the case, because they've replaced her transformation to Sheik with a move called Phantom Slash in which Zelda summons a phantom which attacks the enemy:

It can also block attacks, and it seems that she can send the phantom further away from her by charging the move.

Anyway, Zelda has some other interesting changes, like Din's Fire getting buffed (it gets more powerful the further Zelda sends it and has a new sweet spot). What do you guys think of Zelda in Smash 4?

Zelda is gonna be a lot more interesting since they took off sheik from her. that phantom move looks really good, and her moves looked buffed in general, which is a good thing because in brawl she was baadddd.

Haha, very true. But she was an awesome character and had potential so I have hope she'll be a little better this time around. xD

Yeah that Phantom Slash attack looks cool! And imo, I like the fact that they separated Zelda and Sheik. I find it really funny how in one of the Smash Directs when they were showing off the attack, the Villager "Pocketed" the Phantom Slash and threw it back at her lol.

It looks cool, but I hear it's actually not very good.

Dammit. I just want her to be decent for once.
