Stages! Discuss! What are your favorites from both versions? How do you guys feel about the Final Destination variants of all the stages?

By the way, is there any indication of past stages returning to Smash 4 (not including Battlefield and FD)?

Concerning the new Final Destination forms of stages, a friend of mine who plays a lot of Melee said that it surprised him that they went with FD as a model for these "neutralized" stages; he said that he considers FD "barely neutral" since the complete lack of platforms is really bad for a lot of characters. Do you guys think there's any truth to that?

Anyway, as for favorites, I'm digging Windy Hill and Skyloft a lot for Wii U. For 3DS I think Lumiose City and the Pac-man stage will be pretty awesome.

There's a lot of truth to that. Chaingrabbers and ranged fighters have a bigger advantage on FD. Think of what a terror Little Mac will be there! No where to run. Few ways to exploit his poor air game.

True true. It'd be better if these stages were in the mold of Battlefield, at least because it makes for more interesting gameplay!

Little mac would tear on the FD i think. BF is usually the neutral of the neutral. though im interested in seeing what other stages are in the game also

The new Final Destination looks incredible. Although I do agree with you guys that BF is more of a neutral stage than FD. In the online "for Glory" mode they should have had it as Battlefield and Final Destination. As for my favorites (so far at least). It's probably Reset Bomb Forest on the 3DS and for the Wii U is the Kalos Pokemon league (from what I've seen of it at least. It looks cool).

The fire emblem stage on wii u looks sick as well
