Every week day im going to post the picture that sakurai post on his website here with the caption from miiverse.
so i'll start with todays



"Pic of the day. Just like in the original game, the Dark Emperor can cause status changes based on a fighter's color. Red types generally get powered up. On a different subject, the Mii Fighter is wearing a Mii Force Helmet."

never played find mii, but this looks kinda cool

Wait, red types get powered up? Does that mean it's advantageous to be red? I guess it's a minor thing but that seems nuts.

but yeah i agree that advantage does seem to be a little good, miis are an odd breed lol

Hey VZero... Just FYI, your picture is gonna update every day on it's own. I'm not sure if that's what you wanted or not, but if that's NOT what you wanted you can get the link from the Miiverse instead of the link on the front page of the Smash Website (since that's the one that updates). I assume you didn't want it to change since I'm looking at "Uncle Sam Mario" and "Storm Trooper Samus" and your caption is about Dark Emperor and stuff lol

Anyways, about yesterday's picture. I actually thought that Mii was wearing Masked Man's Helmet at quick glance...

And about today's, those colors are really cool.

That light suit samus looks freaking awesome! makes me want to use her, and All american mario looks badass too

Man, I like both a lot. That samus suit is pretty similar to the one they're putting into PM!

Yeah you're probably right. They also put in that stage from Skyward Sword that PM has.

yeah that is true, Skyloft was in PM first then ironically Nintendo puts it in the new smash

My guess is going.to be Chrom from fire emblem. But I'm hoping for a curve ball from Mr sakurai

All of the popular guesses are Chrom, Shulk, Ridley, and Chorus Men. I'd be fine with any of them (even though I've not played 3 of those games) or anyone really. Mega Man is all I wanted in this game in terms of new people so I'm good.

Ridley would blow my mind if he's announced on Monday. Cmon sakurai!

Watch it be someone NO ONE expects like... Um... Black Shadow from F-Zero <.< lol
I can see it being Shulk or Chrom. But if it is Chorus Men, that's pretty much the final nail in the coffin for the Gematsu nay sayers. I personally would really want it to be someone NOT from the Gematsu leak list. Cmon Sakurai!

I will BLOW UP WITH EXCITEMENT if it's a new Mother/Earthbound character...

Yeah, I'd like it to be someone else too because I don't know like any of those characters. :/ I haven't played the Metroid games much either but Ridley seems like he'd be a cool character.

Black shadow would rock! and i would love ridley too, damn the wait is killing me now lol

It's the weekend. I can wait. This will give me something to look forwards to on Monday.

"Pic of the day. In order to make Rayman's trophy, we asked Ubisoft to share their references. We were expecting to receive 2D drawing references for Rayman, but to our surprise, they sent us data of a brand new 3D model that they rendered for this game!! And that was how this trophy was created. It takes a lot of work creating each model, so it's wonderful that the creators contributed their own efforts!!"

It's odd that they would go through the trouble of getting permission to use 3rd party characters and then only put them in as trophies. Why do that?

That is one crazy Pic of the day. It's probably just a trophy though, unless there's maybe another 3rd party character coming (I doubt it though)... It's cool how Ubisoft "made it for them". Maybe that opens the doors for other 3rd party trophies as well? Obviously that have been on Nintendo consoles. I can see a Slime (Dragon Quest) trophy lol
