Mega Man: Super Fighting Robot

* Lodging Metal Blades into the ground gives you a great tool to use later. It also will sometimes trick the opponent into grabbing it hoping to throw it at you. This works to Mega Man's benefit for a few reasons.
1. That character no longer has access to any of their standard moves until they throw the thing. They're much more predictable with that blade in their hand.
2. Your Mega Buster can just shoot the blade out of the air with one shot so it isn't much of a threat. Plus you can hit them while they're picking it up.

I did have one odd match where a special move-oriented opponent held onto the blade for quite a while. I couldn't throw more until they got rid of it.

I don't know how much truth there is to this one, but it seems that Mega Man is staggered less by Crash Bomb explosions compared to other characters. I've done some silly things where I'll lodge a bomb on someone and, for some reason, I'll be close enough to them to also get blown up.

We both get sent the same direction at the same speed, and I can always follow up with an attack before the opponent does. It has lead to some amazing bair/uair kills.

hmmm thats interesting kaze, i never noticed that. if that is true you can really set up for some good kills.

Well the version 1.0.4 patch hit today. People are still dissecting what Nintendo did what to who (are patch notes so difficult to make?).

Holy moley! I just got done with a bunch of For Glory and a few online friend matches. Leaf Shield is way better with the slight reduction in throwing lag they gave it! I'll have to play around with it more but I've been able to throw it and then follow up with a dashing up smash!

Hey Kaze / whoever else plays SFR. I just found this video which showcases Zucco's Megaman which is apparently pretty stellar so it's worth checking out!

I've been watching Zucco as his matches turn up. He is really good. I've seen some phenomenal Japanese players too.
